Deaf Studies Day
We went field tripping to UVU to see the Deaf Studies Conference and the Deaf Art exhibit. So much fun.

American Sign Language is the third most commonly used language in the United States. After Congress passed the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in 1990, which requires public services to provide interpreters for the Deaf, people across the country began viewing sign language as an important asset in almost any business, government, educational, legal, and medical setting. The recognition of ASL is the acknowledgment of diversity.
